Transparent pickling spray for stainless steel (reduced in development of nitrous gases)
Pickling of stainless steel surfaces and welding seams in one operation.
Development of nitrous gases, dependent on ambient temperature, in the range between 0.5 – 2.0 mg/m3.
The permitted maximum working place concentration (MAK) of nitrous gases is 5 mg/m3 !
A clean metallic surface in the application area is obtained.
Apply the pickling spray gel with a special InoTec pump via hand valve with fine spray nozzle to the
surfaces that are to be treated. The product is intrinsically viscous and adheres to vertical and overhanging sufraces.
Attention: welding seams and heat-affected zones must be allowed to cool down before using the product.
Surfaces must be free from grease and organic contamination.
If necessary, use InoTec Surface Cleaner P or InoTec Degreaser ES before the pickling process.
Do not use the product in direct sunlight, under wind influence and temperatures under +10 °C or over +25 °C.
Read the packing label before use and follow the instructions.
Approx. 4 – 6 m2/kg InoTec Pickling Spray Gel RTS.
30 – 120 minutes
Dependent on the material quality, welding process, component and ambient temperature.
Optimal pickling temperature: 18°C – 22°C.
Cold high pressure water (min. 140 bar).
Rinse until rinsing water is neutral (to be checked with indicator paper).
InoTec Passivation Agent PV for immediate development of the passive layer.
The product and the rinsing water must not be lead into the sewage system.
The product and the rinsing water must be disposed of according to legal requirements (hazardous waste).
Treatment in neutralisation plant or disposal by an authorised company is mandatory.
Local statutory regulations must be followed.
The product contains hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid (C, corrosive, T, toxic).
